She's the stunning model who counts a famous footballer amongst her exes and has more than 255,000 followers on Instagram.

Now Brazilian beauty Thalita Zampirolli, from Rio de Janeiro, can probably be described as the nation's most famous trans woman who delights her fans with her sexy selfies and bikini photos. 

The 26-year-old, who is now rumoured to be dating top male model Rodrigo Westermann, keeps little from her fans, posting videos from her workout classes and even sharing snaps from her visit to a liposculture clinic.

Thalita first hit the headlines when a photo emerged of her with football legend and politician Romario in 2013.

The fact that she had also been born a man also came out.

She said at the time, 'I imagined that he would be annoyed, but at the end of the day whatever my appearance was I am a woman. We had a relationship for a year and it was good while it lasted.'

Romario, however, vehemently denied the claims and even threatened to take her to court about it.

The following year local press reported that the former sportsman was granted a temporary court order to prevent Thalita from speaking about the alleged love affair.

Amid the backlash,  Thalita also claims that some of her modelling contracts were cancelled when it came to light that she was transsexual.

She said: 'They cancelled my work, saying I had acted with bad faith and that I should have told them I was transsexual. At that moment I must admit I became depressed.'

However, three years on and Thalita, who was born in Itapemirim to the north of Rio, is one of Brazil's most famous and celebrated models.

She has taken full advantage of her recognition by treating her ever-growing fan base to photos of herself in skimpy outfits.

She said: 'I never felt right in my male body and always knew I was a woman inside."

Thalita had a gender reassignment to become a woman at the age of 18 that included having breast implants. Her toned and defined body, she says, is down to nothing other than exercise and a strict diet.

She said: 'I am a woman, I have a female sex organ and carry identification as a woman. Therefore I am a woman.'

Since the controversy it appears that Thalita has built up her fan base and now has over 29,000 fans on Facebook, a YouTube page and a popular Instagram account.

A single workout video can garner up to 20,000 likes, while she even films cosmetic treatments to boost her famous derriere. 

Tongues are now wagging over new photos of Thalita cosying up to hunky Rodrigo with the caption, 'he makes me feel so good' and adding the hashtag #Thadrigo, made up of a combination of their first names.
