Noah Beck's breakup with 'first true love' Dixie D'Amelio was 'tricky to recover from'

Noah Beck has opened up about his relationship and breakup with his ex-girlfriend Dixie D’Amelio in an interview on The School of Greatness. The TikTokers dated for around two years before calling it quits in 2022, and now Noah is opening up on how he felt during and after the relationship.

Dixie D’Amelio and Noah were known as the ‘TikTok power couple’ for the two years they dated, after rising to fame and amassing millions of followers on the platform. Now, a year later, Noah Beck is opening up on the best, most challenging, and saddest thing about the split.

Although Beck and D’Amelio decided to keep their relationship off social media, in the interview with Lewis Howes, he said the best thing about being with someone in the same industry was that they were there for each other and “understood how one another were feeling.”

“It wasn’t a completely new world, I didn’t have to explain to my partner, this is how I’m feeling and them being like ‘I don’t understand.'”

Of course, there were challenges that came with that, especially as the couple were only 19 years old at the time.

“I think the biggest challenge was everyone having a say,” Noah admitted.

“It’s just everyone having a say, despite who you are, where you’re from, what you know about us. I think everyone has a voice, everyone’s in the relationship at that point, and that was very tricky because we were figuring this world out,” he continued.

Beck says Dixie was his ‘first true love’

When asked about the saddest part of the relationship, the 22-year-old revealed it was the ending, before admitting D’Amelio was his “first true love.”

“Having someone in your life, having someone that’s your support system and knows everything about you – I don’t know – it was such a weird time. It’s something that not many people can relate to – like – everyone has their first true love and she was mine.

“I think everyone’s experience is different but the way ours trickled down was just so bizarre, so unique.”

Speaking on breakups, Beck said: “I can go on and on about what makes breakups hard, but at the end of the day I think most people know what makes it hard.

“I think just our bond that we had was really tricky, and it was tricky to recover from because it was so good.”

The TikTok couple’s relationship timeline

The couple turned heads in the summer of 2020 when they posted their first TikTok together, after Dixie’s breakup with influencer Griffin Johnson.

After sharing a kiss in Dixie’s music video and many sightings and hints over the months, Beck finally shared the news in October 2020 in an interview with AwesomenessTV.

Cut to August 2022, and Dixie celebrates her 21st birthday in Vegas, although Noah is nowhere to be seen, sparking split rumors, however, these were denied.

Three months later, a publicist for the couple announced their split, citing: “We can confirm that the pair are no longer together but remain close friends.”
